Name change to KDB Bank Europe
KDB Bank Europe Ltd. – KDB Bank is expanding
KDB Bank (Hungary) Ltd. changed its name on 23rd May 2013. After the court registration the Bank continues its commercial banking activity under the name of KDB Bank Europe Ltd.
The Bank’s ownership structure is unchanged; it is the subsidiary and 100% owned by the Seoul-based, South-Korean Korea Development Bank (KDB Bank). The European network development will be carried out by establishing new local branches in Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern-European countries, following the parent bank’s expansion strategy. KDB Bank would like to become the most influential Asian bank of the region in the following years.
In 2013, the Bank starts its network-broadening activity in Central-Eastern-Europe: new branch is planned to be opened in Slovakia.
