Dear Customer,

As previously announced, from 2 November 2022 using the older versions of ViCA mobile application will not be possible with KDB NetBank and KDB PC Kontakt services. From that day only the following versions of ViCA mobile application can be used with KDB Bank services:
- on Android system: version 3.1.5 or higher version of ViCA application
- on iOS system: version 3.1 or higher version of ViCA application

To meet legal requirements and to increase your security during the payment the following two factor will be required to authenticate the transaction:

  • one time password sent via SMS (Secure internet based payment verification code)
  • password (this will be delivered until 30 December 2020)

 

In regards the above the General Terms and Conditions for VISA Chip Debit Cards will be amended with the effective date 31 December 2020, of which we have informed you in the form of Netbank message and on the November account statement.

In accordance with the legal provisions (Directive 2014/92/EU, 2018/33/EU Regulation, 144/2018. (VIII. 13.) Gov. Decree) KDB Bank provides Statement of Fees in standardized format and content for its private person Clients once a year after 1 January 2020, free of charge, about all fees and interests incurred in the previous year - in case of first Statement of Fees from August 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 period - for services linked to a payment account.

Important changes related to login and signing orders in KDB NetBank and KDB PC Kontakt as of September 14, 2019

Dear Clients,

As we informed you earlier, the provisions of the PSD2 European Union Payment Services Directive (2015/2366/EU) on strong customer authentication will enter into force on September 14, 2019. According to the change, from this day the Bank’s electronic channels can be used only with strong customer authentication (also known as two-factor authentication) process, for both login to the service and signing orders. Mandatory application of strong customer authentication on electronic channels as of September 14, 2019

Dear Customers,

Hereby we would like to inform you about an important change in legal regulations relevant to payment services that will come into force as of 14th September 2019. According to the change which directly affects our customers, from 14th September 2019 the Bank’s electronic channels can be used only with strong customer authentication, also known as two-factor authentication process, for both login to the service and signing orders. At our Bank the two-factor authentication process for KDB NetBank and KDB PC Kontakt (installed client program) services is implemented by using ViCA application, which is already available.

We kindly call your attention that as of 14th September 2019 you will not be able to use the KDB NetBank and KDB PC Kontakt services in the usual way (user ID + login password, fixed signature password, SMS signature code)! In order to avoid this, please visit one of our branches as soon as possible to apply for ViCA app.

Change in the telephone number of our KDB Kontakt Call Center service

Please be informed that based on the Decree 1/2016 (I. 15.) on the amendment of several decrees on identifier management, issued by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority, the domestic "blue numbers" using area code 40 will be ceased in 2017. According to this, the blue number 06 40 532 532 of KDB Bank Call Center customer service will be cancelled on 31 December, 2017.

Please note that, from 1st of January, 2018 our Call Center customer service will only be available on the already operating phone numbers that can be called both from Hungary and abroad: +36 1 473 4440 and +36 1 374 9990.
